Our goal is to become a model neighborhood resource that successfully balances the ideals of environmentally responsible food movements with the needs and voices of the diverse urban communities of Silver Lake, Los Feliz, Echo Park and beyond. With community support, we’ll have a thriving model of modern dining convenience supported by an unwavering dedication to hospitality; this in the center of an exciting, urban, high-profile central Los Angeles neighborhood.
The prices on our menu are the prices you pay; they’re inclusive of all services rendered and jobs performed. You need not offer more as a gratuity; in fact, we aren’t “equipped” to handle them. So you won't see a tip line on your credit card slip, and any extra cash left on the bar or table will be considered a donation to a local non profit of our staffs' choosing.
It's imperative that all of our staff get equitable compensation for their work regardless of their role in this restaurant. Tips, and the false economies they support, get in the way of us achieving this goal. So with all due respect, no tips please.
